BEHAVIOUR NEWS FOR VETS

Date Released:
03/04/2007

As the field of companion animal behaviour counselling expands and more veterinary practices are aware of their client’s behavioural needs, it is essential that the latest behaviour information is available to veterinary practices. To meet this need, the APBC(Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors) is producing a special newsletter for the veterinary profession.

Initially, the newsletter will be six monthly, but, dependent on demand, additional issues may be produced throughout the year. A number of veterinary practices have already indicated that such a specialist newsletter would be of interest and have signed up to be on the APBC’s mailing list. Any veterinary practices wishing to be added to the mailing list should e-mail info [at] apbc [dot] org [dot] uk or telephone 01386 751151.

The APBC, founded in 1989, is the leading organisation in the field of companion animal behaviour and many of its members are at the cutting edge of the latest research into this rapidly growing discipline.  The APBC organises a number of seminars and events throughout the year for both the veterinary and behaviour professions.
