I have been around dogs all my life, growing up in a very dog friendly household and I have been helping people and their dog's professionally across the UK since 2010. I am an accredited behaviourist and trainer and currently share my life with my English Setter, Sky and Border Terrier, Beanie.
I am recommended by vets and have been helping people across the U.K. since 2010 to find solutions to their dog's problem behaviours, for example: aggression towards people and other dogs, fear and anxiety, rehabilitation of overseas rescue dogs, nuisance barking, destructive behaviour, chasing wildlife etc, one thing we know for sure is that it's never too late to make things better.
I am also the current Chair of the Canine Behaviour and Training Society (TCBTS)
I am a graduate of Jean Donaldson's The Academy For Dog Trainers - Regarded by many as the Harvard for dog trainers and a Victoria Stilwell Pet Dog Trainer (VSPDT-CDT) and Mentor.
I am a Full Member of the APBC, the International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants (IAABC) Pet Professional Guild (PPG), the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) # 01239, Full Member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), Full Member Behaviourist: The Canine Behaviour and Training Society (TCBTS) an Animal Behaviour & Training Council (ABTC) ATI ABT CAB and a Fear Free professional.
As well as leading the team at Puppy Stars: Puppy & Dog Training Academy, I have worked alongside the Medical Detection Dogs providing behavioural support and training. I have been a Training and Behaviour advisor for the Dogue de Bordeaux Welfare, trained with the Fire Service and previously wrote a monthly column in Dog World Magazine called - Behaviour Matters, have appeared on live TV (QVC with Pet Munchies), worked behind the scenes as the Dog Expert for the final of the Apprentice and have worked with 1000's of dogs of all breeds since 2010
When I have some spare time, I volunteer as a fund raiser for the Medical Detection Dogs.
