Profile:
Veterinary behaviourist Dr Katie Friel-Russell offers behaviour consults at Positive Pet Training for both dogs and cats.
Our dog veterinary behaviour consults address problem behaviours driven through emotional, physical and cognitive causes.
A detailed online course explains the dog behaviour to ensure you’ve got time to understand your dog and dog behaviour before the initial theory consult held online.
The practical consult follows held either in your home, at our clinic or virtually. A full report details all the exercises for you to practice at home and further sessions are available at additional cost.
All costs can be claimed direct through pet insurance if you have appropriate cover for both dogs and cats.
The cat behaviour consult is held virtually in one consult to address emotional, cognitive and physical based behavioural concerns.
As a veterinary surgeon Dr Katie is also able to diagnose and treat medical influences on behaviour working with your general practice vet. She can also prescribe any medications which may be suitable to aid with behavioural modification.
If you’d like to know more or book in please contact us to discuss your case and a referral will be required direct from your vet.
