Profile:
Hello, welcome to my bio. I have worked with dog and cat problem behaviour cases since graduating with a Masters in Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare from Edinburgh University in 2000.
I am a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB), a Registered Clinical Animal Behaviourist (ABTC), a full member of both the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) and the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC).I run a very busy business, dividing my time between The Pet Behaviour Centre clients, acting as a Visiting Lecturer on the Clinical Animal Behaviour degree course at Harper Adams University, as a lecturer for the Animal Behaviour and Training B.Sc. and Vet Nursing degree students at Moreton Morrell College, offering guidance as a behaviour advisor for a local police division and as a Clinical Behaviourist for FirstVet.
I have published several books for dog and cat owners and a range of DVDs. I was a behaviour expert for Your Dog magazine 2005-2018.
Early in my career I ran a successful behaviour consultancy in the South East UK, ran busy 'Puppy School' classes, worked on behaviour and training issues with Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and worked within an animal rescue organisation.
I care a lot about my clients, appreciating how upsetting it is to live with and manage pet behaviour problems. I give my best efforts to help you achieve your goals, setting realistic aims from the beginning.
I have my own dogs, cats and chickens to keep me and my family busy at home.
